Sister Size
Bra sister sizes refer to different band and cup size combinations that fit similarly, allowing you to find a better fit if your usual size isn't quite right. They are based on the same cup volume but have different band sizes.
Here’s how it works:
- Band Size and Cup Size Relationship: The band size (the number part of your bra size, like 34, 36, etc.) and the cup size (the letter, like AAA, AA, A, etc.) work together to determine the overall size of the bra. For example, a 30A and a 32AA both have the same cup volume.
- Sister Sizes Chart: If you find that your usual size feels too tight or loose, you can try a sister size. Sister sizes can be either up or down in band size, and you adjust the cup size accordingly to maintain the same cup volume.
- If your band size feels too tight, try going up a band size and down a cup size.
- If your band size feels too loose, try going down a band size and up a cup size.
By exploring sister sizes, you might find a more comfortable fit, especially if the band or cup of your usual size doesn't feel quite right.
